Choosing a linear look in your kitchen is becoming very popular. It is a very modern style that I think will just get bigger and bigger. Plain unit doors and drawers without handles are making kitchens look sleek and sophisticated, especially if they are finished off with chrome or gloss finishes. Smart Storage Solutions –
Having very little on your worktops is another big trend at the moment. Gone are the days of having all of your appliances out on every inch of worktop space. Deep drawers and tall larders are a good way to go, as well as having the kitchen units reaching right to the ceiling. It looks less cluttered and much more stylish when you have very little out on ‘display.’
Accents of Copper –
The home trend of black and white slowly moved to embracing light shades of grey and more earthy tones. While this is set to continue, having pops or accents of copper in the kitchen have been very popular. People are looking for alternatives to stainless steel for their kitchen gadgets, as well as the handles or appliances. So a copper kettle or toaster could be just the things that you need to give your kitchen a modern and stylish vibe.
