Paintwork –

Exposed Brickwork –
If you are lucky enough to have any exposed brickwork in your dining room then you can play a lot with accentuating this a feature. Exposed brickwork can look really fantastic painted over in high gloss paint if you’re not completely happy with the colour of the brickwork.
Alternatively, if you really like the colour of the brick but you’re not quite sure what to do with the wall then think about oversized, ornate mirrors or pieces of art to create an interesting contrast and a focal point for the room.
Table Decorations –
The way you decorate your dining room tables is an area where you can really have some fun. This is obviously a part of the room that you can continuously change so you can afford to be more experimentational and a little bolder in your choices.
Perhaps you want to try going for a really dark, moody table cloth or dark gothic style decorations. Or perhaps you fancy something really rustic, or perhaps you want to try an eclectic style by mixing and matching different colours, textures and patterns. Bring the Outdoors Indoors –
A great way to make your dining room feel really fresh and welcoming is by filling the space with outdoor plants and flowers. Think about the type of plants that you can integrate into the space as permanent features. Do you research about the type of plants that weather well in indoor space and adorn them in beautiful plant pots around the corners of this room.

You don’t have to wait until your hosting to take a pride in the flower arrangements you have in your dining room.
