Bloombox Club

This year it’s become my mission to become even slightly exterior as well as interior. Homes are my passion & unfortunately for my ungreenfingered brain, gardens unfortunately come with them (most of the time anyway).

I first came across Bloombox Club when visiting the Ideal Home Show in March & was blown away by what a fantastic idea the whole concept was.

The founder of this innovative concept is Katie who I met at the show & spent a while chatting to. She previously worked as a psychologist but was also a keen gardener & decided to put her all into her passion which was when Bloombox Club was launched.

I personally am a hopeless gardener & it seems like no matter how much I try, everything green seems to wilt & die in my care. It’s actually an ongoing joke with my husband that any plant that makes it’s way into our garden or home will be meeting it’s untimely demise. God rest their leafy souls.

The main problem is that I fall victim of the ‘all the gear, no idea’ phrase. I buy plants & even own pretty pink floral gardening equipment. I have the best intentions, but that’s about as far as it goes. Our rockery area was looking SO bare & unloved, but that’s no longer the case anymore!

ROCKERY AFTER FIRST DELIVERY

That’s where Bloombox Club comes into play.

The idea behind it is that Bloombox club delivers a selection of low maintanance & easy to care for seasonal plants to your door along with information cards on how to care for the plants delivered. They even have a handy app to download which is packed full of tips & advice. This aims to gradually guide you into the world of gardening whilst teaching you along the way.

You have 4 product options to choose from – a seasonal box (Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter ranging from £60-95) or the ‘4 seasons package’ which includes delivery in March, April, May, June, September & December for £295 or £27.50 pcm. They also offer a gift box for £55.00 & an edibles box for £35.00 which includes all you need to grow your own herbs & vegetables.

I went with the 4 seasons package in the view to hopefully learn about the best time to purchase different types of plants & to establish our garden.

I’ve had 3 deliveries so far & have been amazed by the contents of each box. The selection of plants has been brilliant & it honestly feels like Christmas opening the box & finding out what goodies have arrived. I was incredibly excited about the chocolate mint herb that came in April’s delivery!

They also come with handy hessian sacks for planting up if you don’t have any space left.

So far, I’m proud to say that not a single one of the plants has popped it’s clogs on me! I would 100% recommend for anybody looking to get into gardening or even as a gift.

This is that bare sorry excuse for a rockery now after Bloombox took over –
